Two former The Fly players selected in All-Europe Tournament Team
Two former The Fly players were selected as part of the 2025 All-Europe Tournament Team following the conclusion of the 2025 European Lacrosse Men’s Championship on Sunday.
Nick DeCaprio, who made his debut at The Fly in 2025 for Hustle and made the All-Star Team this year, was selected as one of the top performing players at the Men’s Euros after he helped his England side to a third place finish.
DeCaprio featured in all seven games for England as they eventually picked up a bronze medal after a 7-4 win over Ireland in the third place play off, bagging himself two goals as a long pole in the process.
Danny Hilditch joined DeCaprio as the second former The Fly player to be selected as part of the 2025 All-Europe Tournament Team for his performances during the competition for England.
Hilditch has featured in The Fly three times (2021, 2024, 2025), representing Swift each time, reaching the final in 2024, and being named in the 2024 All-Star Team.
He was one of England’s top performing attackers, finishing top of their points-scoring chart with 17 goals and five assists.
In the third place play off, he scored a hat-trick of goals to ensure victory against Ireland and a top three finish.
