The Fly will return in 2023!

The Fly will return in 2023 on three days across three weekends in May and June!

After a hugely successful first two years, the UK’s leading elite Sixes competition is back for the 2023 edition across three summer dates on Sunday 14 May, Sunday 21 May, and culminating in the 2023 finals on Sunday 4 June.

The three days of competition across the weekends will ensure The Fly can flourish as a league, allowing a consistently high level of competition and bringing together the best players in the world to shine on the biggest stage.

The Fly features side-by-side men’s and women’s competitions, giving our male and female athletes absolute equality in profile and performance, bringing together players and coaches from across the sport to represent the sport at the highest level.

And with lacrosse on the path to Commonwealth and Olympic inclusion, The Fly continues to support high-performance, international athletes on their journey to the Commonwealth and Olympic Games.

Over 14 and 21 May, the four teams in the men’s and women’s leagues will play each other once to determine their seeding for finals day.

Then, on 4 June, The Fly finals day will take place with semi-finals and finals to see who’ll be crowned champions for 2023!

At last year’s competition, Forge took home the women’s title for the first time while Rise retained the trophy they first won in 2021.
